Trip to York
Join Your SU for a day out in York City Centre!
York is a beautiful city in the heart of Yorkshire, with a rich history & lots of incredible places to see.
After a 90 minute coach journey, you will have approx. 7 hours free time to explore & discover everything the beautiful city has to offer.
From it's famous Cathedral & Castle Walls to it's muesums & heritage centre. Plus shops, markets, parks and restaurants - you will not be short of sights to see!
The coach will leave from Sunderland City Campus at 8:30am, arriving in York for approx. 10:00am & with the return journey at 5pm back to Sunderland for 6:30pm.
One of the things that people have been asking for from SU Trips is for their to be the option of a guided tour, so we are teaming up with Your SU's Fine Art Society, who's leaders Jo and Abbey will take you around the city to sights and attractions such as York Art Gallery, The Vincent Van Gogh Experience, The Shambles and more! Please note that this guided tour element to the trip is optional (you're more than welcome to come on the trip and just go explore on your own) and some attractions may have extra added charges on the day)
Tickets are £17 for University of Sunderland Students.

We'll also provide you with a handy guidebook to the city, with lots of great suggestions for places to visit & explore during your time there.

By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
